Regarded as "the Spanish Village by the Sea", with many of the buildings having a magnificent Mediterranean style, with Spanish tile roofs and clean white stucco contrasting against the rich blue of the sky and Pacific Ocean. Today, it still maintains this clean, warm ambiance of a world-class beach town and is perhaps most well known for its pristine coastline, amazing beaches, and world renowned surf breaks and is today the headquarters for a number of surfing industries.

The city has an astounding network of trails that meander through the city and end at the beach, traversing canyons and hills along the way with spectacular coastal views. These are ideal places for hiking, walking and mountain biking.  Additionally, San Clemente enjoys some great golfing facilities.

San Clemente Pier 1,296-foot long pleasure pier featuring spectacular Pacific Ocean views, free fishing, indoor/outdoor restaurant dining and offers a wonderful location to watch surfing competitions, sports activities and beach fun.
